Songwriter, pianist, and sound stylist LaToya sees music as a miraculous tool and gift. Her South Carolina roots planted a vision in her for music as a real language and way of life. Simply put, she loves, lives, speaks and breathes music.

While a true SC native, LaToya Renea is NY made with experience as a PS music teacher having imparted to over 3,000 students in every borough. Her days at the New School for Jazz & Contemporary music, Beth Rapha Bible Institute, & Queens College (M.A. Music) all infused her for experience as a musical director in many sacred and secular contexts.

As at home in jazz and gospel as she is in pop and classical, she’s left very few genres unexplored in over 20 years of professional singing. Many of her most profound instructors have been the regulars, the normals, the unprofessionals - the men, women and children who fill her life with their music.

LaToya Renea is an international musician whose artistry will continue to impact the lives of many.

This singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and producer loves to tell stories by any means possible and released her 2021 EP entitled Divertimento and will release more singles, including “Don’t Kill the Little Boy” in 2023.
